Freedom Project

The Freedom Project is 3-year trauma, substance, recovery and mental health project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). This project will develop a peer support network through community collaboration to promote self-advocacy, develop knowledge and support life-style changes for individuals, families and communities.

By engaging with individuals and groups across various cross-community settings within the Derry City and Strabane District Council area, we aim to foster resilience and a deeper understanding of managing mental health issues, substance use, and alcohol-related challenges throughout different stages of life.
